STEVE WILSON Steve Wilson, 75 passed away peacefully on Friday October 18, 2013 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach with his family at his side. Steve and his wife Dorothy lived in Independence, MO. for most of their married life. Upon retiring from Ferrell Gas, Steve and Dorothy moved to the Lake of the Ozarks where they have lived for 21 years. Steve loved mowing grass, working in the yard, building bird feeders, and relaxing on their swing that overlooked the lake. He also liked fishing, watching football, sprint car racing and drag boat racing. Steve also honorably served in the U.S. Navy from August 1955 - August 1961. Steve is survived by his wife of 54 years Dorothy. He is also survived by son Steve Wilson and wife Christy, son David Wilson and wife Michelle, daughter Sharlyn Wilson, daughter Stacey Silvey and husband Jarrett. Grandchildren include Brandon Brown, Kara Wilson, Sabrina Wilson, Austin Wilson, Keegan Wilson, and Dillen Silvey. A celebration of Steve's life will be held on Saturday, October 26th from 1-4pm at the Northwest Fire Protection District Fire House. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association can be made through Allee Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, MO.
