SUE NORMAN Marie Susan Norman, daughter of Gilbert John and Thelma Marie Melcher Bell, was born, August 14, 1942 in Racine, Wisconsin. She departed this life, Wednesday, April 16, 2014, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of seventy-one years, eight months and two days. On June 3, 1983, she was united in marriage to Terry Lee Norman. Together they shared thirty years of marriage She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gilbert Bell, Jr.; a son, Jeffrey Kolonick and a step-son, Terry Norman, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Terry Norman of Linn Creek, Missouri; two children, Edward Chase and Diane Rowlands and husband Rusty; three grandchildren, Elise Chase, Mason and Owen Rowlands; three step-children, Robert Norman, Lori Norman and Patrick Norman; two sisters, Bonnie Klemick and husband Dennis and Jean Bowman and husband Randy and a host of other relatives and many friends. Sue was raised in Racine, Wisconsin and attended school there. She worked for Massey-Ferguson and a purchasing secretary and packaging clerk. She later moved to Batavia, Illinois, where she worked at McWayne School, teaching in the latch key kid program. She also worked for Daisy Daycare and did private child-care for several families. She retired to Linn Creek, Missouri in 2001. In her spare time she enjoyed counted cross stitch, scrapbooking, card making, stamping, reading and cooking. Sue was a very loving, kind and gentle person. She will be missed terribly by her husband, Terry, her furry friend, Snickers, many relatives, friends and all who knew her. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
