SUZETTE MARIE MCCLURE-MIDDENDORF Suzette Marie McClure-Middendorf, daughter of Harold and Mary Josephine Hinman Leseure, was born October 5, 1956 in Springfield, Illinois. She departed this life Sunday, August 7, 2016 in her home, Camdenton, Missouri, at the age of fifty-nine years, ten months, and two days. Her father, and a sister, Sondra Briggs, preceded her in death. Suzette is survived by her husband, Curt, of the home; her children, Michelle Perry and husband Joshua of Brumley, Missouri, Heather Asche and husband Joshua, of Urbandale, Iowa, Stephen McClure, Jr., and wife Jennifer, of Leland, North Carolina, Derek Middendorf, of Camdenton, Missouri, Mitchell Middendorf, of Quincy, Illinois, Leah Middendorf, of Quincy, Illinois, and Curt Middendorf II, of Camdenton, Missouri; her grandchildren, Parker Asche, Fernando Hutchinson, Carter Asche, Michelle Warren, Ethan Warren, Madalynn Perry, Daniel McClure; her mother, Josephine Leseure, of Springfield, Illinois; her siblings, Daniel Leseure and wife Karen Hewitt, of the state of California, Larry Leseure and wife Anny, of St. Louis, Missouri, Sonja McGrath and husband Jim, of Springfield, Illinois, Terry Leseure and wife Valerie, of Springfield, Illinois, and Gary Leseure and wife Pam, of St. Louis, Missouri; a number of nieces, nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. Suzette was born in Springfield, Illinois and was a graduate of Springfield High School in the Class of 1974. She moved to Quincy, Illinois and worked in the Quincy school system as a Para Educator from 1995 until her retirement in 2013. She also worked as an associate at Bath and Body Works for over thirteen years. Following her retirement, Suzette moved to her “happy place” on the Big Niangua Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks. She loved boating and sunbathing, and enjoyed spending as much time as possible on the water. Suzette cherished the time spent with her family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking and always kept her house spotless. Suzette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends. Visitation services for Suzette McClure-Middendorf will be held 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2016 in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
