Tanner Jae Elmore
Tanner Jae Elmore, son of Robert W. and Catherine (Katy) C. Abraham Elmore, was born, December 18, 1986 in Amarillo, Texas. He departed this life, July 14, 2022, at the age of thirty-five years.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandpa, G. Jarvis Elmore; maternal grandparents, Harold F. and Nancy M. Mayfield and two uncles, Neal R. Johnson and Thomas W. Abraham.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Katy Elmore of Montreal, Missouri; his brother, Tyson Jones of DeKalb, Illinois; two sisters, Taylor Wiktor and husband Kyle of Yorkville, Illinois and Tracee Kambic and husband Thomas of Lockport, Illinois; his grandma, Connie Elmore of Montreal, Missouri; two nieces, Aimee Kambic and Lily Jones; two nephews, Matthew Kambic and Jaxson Jones, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Tanner was born in Texas and raised in Illinois and graduated from Joliet West High School. He attended Joliet Junior College and received his degree in Business and also attended WyoTech in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. Tanner enjoyed life to it’s fullest and was a mechanic by trade. He had a natural gift in repairing vehicles and took pride in his work. He also was skilled in carpentry and outside yard planning and work.
Tanner was a believer and had a very strong faith.
In his spare time, he loved to have fun with both his friends and family. He was loved by all who knew and met him. Tanner was always up for a new challenge. There was nothing that he tried that he couldn’t do. He was extremely strong and agile.
Tanner was a loving son, uncle, grandson and a caring, neighbor and friend. Tanner never met a stranger. He loved and was loved and always had that beautiful smile on his face. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
