THOMPSON CODY WEEKS Thompson Cody Weeks, son of Gibson Cody and Martha Ann Estes Weeks, was born, February 13, 1956 in Centerville, Virginia. He departed this life, Wednesday, September 16, 2009, Norfolk, Virginia at the age of fifty-three years, seven months and three days. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Watts and husband Mark of Roach, Missouri; his son, Shawn Weeks and wife Laura of Casselberry, Florida; 3 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends. Cody was raised in Virginia and entered the United States Navy. He served his country proudly during the Vietnam era state side. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he lived in several locations, before settling in Camdenton, Missouri in the early 1980's. He worked as a welder for most of his life and had been an employee at Modine for many years. He had recently moved to Virginia. He had been a volunteer fireman and first responder for the Northwest Fire Protection District for many years. He was passionate about Tai Kwon Do and had been an instructor for the Howard's ATA Black Belt Academy in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was a loving father and grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2009 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
