It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Alan Balakas on September 30, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on May 21, 1947, Timothy was the beloved son of the late Albin Balakas and Christine Martinek Balakas.

He is preceded in death by his cherished wife, Paula. Timothy is survived by his two loving daughters: Kristen West, with her children Olivia, Lilah, Zavier, and Mikayla; and Kathryn Wilson, her husband Michael Wilson, and their children Lucy, Molly, and Colette. He also leaves behind his brother, Tom Balakas, and his wife Mary Sharon Balakas, along with their children Ryan Balakas (Ashley), Patrick Balakas (Mark), and Megan Balakas.

Timothy's life was marked by his strong sense of family, love, and dedication to those around him. He will be dearly missed by his relatives, friends, and all who knew him.

A private family service will be held in his honor.
