TomAnn Wilson TomAnn Wilson, daughter of Frank and Nellie Mae Pope Emry was born, September 24, 1919 in Toronto, Missouri. She departed this life, Monday, June 11, 2012, in her home, Montreal, Missouri at the age of ninety-two years, eight months and eighteen days. On August 15, 1943 in Yuma, Arizona, she was united in marriage to Ralph Eugene Wilson and four children were added to this union. Together they shared forty-five years of marriage before his passing on July 15, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents; six siblings, Nan Clairborn, Don Scrivner, Merril Emry, William Frank "Jiggs" Emry, Jim Emry and JoNelle Emry and a step-son, Lanford Wilson. Survivors include four children, James Wilson of Montreal, Missouri, John Wilson and wife Candi of ElCajon, California, Sharon Doan and husband Mick of Carson City, Nevada and Nancy Mershon and husband Walter of Santee, California; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Lee Emry of Warsaw, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. TomAnn was raised in the Montreal area. She moved to Kansas City before World War II and later moved to California. After her husband's retirement in 1973, they moved back near their old home places in Camden County. She was a homemaker, a mother to her children and a help-mate to her husband. She served as a foster mother for dozens of children throughout the years. She loved her foster children as her own. In her spare time she enjoyed Pinochle and Scrabble. She loved to sew and was a talented seamstress. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Graveside funeral services and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in Freedom Cemetery. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
