Vaughn "Rooter" Vincent

Vaughn Francis Vincent, son of Victor and Evelyn Vincent, was born October 31, 1951 in Vandalia, Illinois. He departed this life January 13, 2025 at the age of seventy-three years, two months and thirteen days.

In 1974, he was united in marriage to Virginia Ann in Arizona. Together they shared 50 years of marriage until Virginia’s passing in 2024.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and sister Vicky Vincent.

Vaughn is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Vincent of Peoria, Illinois; son, Bryan Hipsher and wife Angela of Franklin, Ohio; son, Roger Hipsher of Kansas City, Missouri; son Troy Hipsher of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister, Carol Calvert and husband Bob of Hillsboro, Illinois; brother, Todd Vincent and wife Debi of Martinsville, Illinois; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Vaughn was raised in the Bingham and Ramsey, Illinois areas.

Vaughn was a member of the Elks Lodge and volunteered at Share the Harvest food bank.

In his spare time, he enjoyed volunteering, helping others, bowling and fishing.

He was a loving and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Mt. Carmel Church, 2876 North 425th St, Ramsey, Illinois 62080 beginning at 11:00 am with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

A second service will be held at a later time (pending details) in the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri area.

Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
