VERA ANN CORNELIUS KELLY Vera Ann Kelly, daughter of Daniel Edward and Vera Francis Freeze Cornelius, was born, March 14, 1949 in Bolivar, Missouri. She departed this life, Saturday, December 17, 2011, in her home, Camdenton, Missouri after a battle with cancer, at the age of sixty-two years, nine months and three days. She was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Dean Cornelius. Survivors include her daughters, Anglette Edwards and Marie Skinner and husband Darrin; two grandsons, Evan and Daniel Skinner all of Camdenton, MO; her parents, Daniel and Vera "Francis" Cornelius; a brother, James "Edward" Cornelius and wife Julia all of Halfway, Missouri and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Vera was raised in Shawnee Mission, Kansas and graduated from high school there. She spent many years caring for children. She moved to Camdenton in 2007 to help care for her grandsons. Vera was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 446 in Buffalo, Missouri. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and crocheting. Most of all, she loved spending time with the family, especially her grandsons. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. She touched many lives and her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who love her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Goff Cemetery, Halfway, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to Foundation for Women's Cancer and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
