VIOLET RUGE Violet Imagene Ruge, daughter of Charles and Margaret Lucinda Leffert Foust, was born June 3, 1939 in Old Linn Creek, Missouri. She departed this life, Sunday, September 16, 2007 in St. John's Hospital, Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-eight years, three months and thirteen days. Violet was married twice and divorced. She raised two children on her own. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings and a grandchild. Surviving are her children, Timothy O'Shea and wife Laura of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Margo Albritton and husband Ed of Montreal, Missouri; five grandchildren, Tim O'Shea of North Carolina and Mike O'Shea, Stephaine O'Shea, Andrew Tramel and Philip Tramel all of Lebanon, Missouri; a great-granddaughter, Ashton Tramel of Lebanon, Missouri; a life-long friend, Charles Coryell of the home; his daughters, Charlene Sutton and Virginia Culley both of Lebanon, Missouri and Janice Ivey of Clinton, Missouri; a sister, Janie Leon of the Kansas City, Missouri area and nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Violet was raised in the Linn Creek area and later moved with her family to Lebanon. She lived in various places while she was raising her children. Later she returned to Lebanon where she continued to live until the time of her passing. Earlier in life, she had worked various restaurant jobs. Later, she became a licensed Medical Technician and worked for Gaslight Manor in Lebanon. Violet made a profession of faith in Christ and when unable to attended church, she read her Bible faithfully everyday. In her spare time, she enjoyed quiet times, reading and watching Western movies. Her favorite actor was always John Wayne. She also enjoyed beautiful flowers. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family. Violet was a loving mother, grandmother, companion and sister. We will cherish the memories she created and celebrate her life. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 19, 2007 in Myetta Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Myetta Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday in the church. Memorial donations may be made to a fund established to assist the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
