WANITA ROWLETTE Wanita Williams Rowlette, daughter of Milo and Bertha Shipman Winfrey was born February 8, 1924 in Linn Creek, Missouri. She departed this life on August 7, 2015 at the age of ninety-one years, five months and thirty days at her home in Linn Creek, Missouri. Wanita married John Vernon Williams and to this union two sons were born, Jimmy Lee Williams and Donald Buel Williams. John Vernon and Wanita owned and operated Williams Motors, a Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge dealership in Camdenton. After their divorce, Wanita worked at Saint Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri. She later married Richard Rowlette and the two of them owned and operated an accounting firm in Eldon, Missouri. After retiring, Wanita spent the remainder of her years on her century old family farm where she loved the outdoors; working in the garden, riding around the farm on the utv, and raking leaves with her dog Roxy always at her side. Most of all, Wanita loved her family and loved spending time at family gatherings. Wanita lived a fantastic life. She was spunky, smart, strong and classy but most of all she was extremely kind. Wanita was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Jimmy Lee Williams and Donald Buel Williams; her daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Williams; her granddaughter, Amelia Jane Tull; her husband, Richard Rowlette; her twin brother, Wayne Winfrey; her sister, Faye Clark and sister-in-law, Beulah Winfrey. Wanita is survived by her grandchildren, John Williams and wife Tammy of Camdenton Missouri, Donald Buel Williams, Jr. and fiance Karen Kelly of Linn Creek, Missouri, Joe Musica of Camdenton, Missouri, Missy Smith and Trey Scott of Linn Creek, Missouri, Nathan Williams and wife Tiffany of Linn Creek Missouri, Sara Weber of Linn Creek Missouri, Wayne Williams of Anchorage, Alaska and Wendell Williams of Dallas, Texas; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Joyce Mace of Osage Beach, Missouri and a host of nieces and nephews and many many friends. She will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Freedom Cemetery, Montreal. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
