Wayne Edward Warren, son of Charles Warren and Hazel Obborn-Warren, was born April 20, 1932 in Lafayette, Indiana. He departed this life peacefully, on March 13, 2024, in his home in Montreal, Missouri at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 22 days.
On November 14, 1952 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Clarabelle in Danville, Illinois. To this union, 3 Daughters were born, and together they shared 71 years of marriage.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Clarabelle Warren of Montreal, MO; daughters, Wanda Jackson of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Pam Lewis (Tony) of Camdenton, Missouri, and Debbie Walters (Dennis) of Montreal, Missouri; three granddaughters, six grandsons, twenty-two great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends, and his beloved dog Annie.
Wayne enlisted in the United States Army shortly after graduation from High School and spent a career proudly serving his Country. He completed his service as a Recruiter and retired after 22 years having earned a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Korean War Service Medal, Expert Rifle and Pistol Qualifications, Jump Wings, and many more medals and awards.
In his spare time, Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, swimming, and skiing. In fact, there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. He also never stopped serving his community as a Freemason, Shriner, and VFW member. Wayne was also a member of the NRA and National Wild Turkey Federation.
He was a loving and a caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
