William S. Altman

William S. Altman, son of Ann Emry and the late Dean Robert Altman, was born on April 12, 1964 in Bellville, Illinois. He departed this life on September 6, 2021 in Osage Beach, Missouri. At the time of his passing, he was fifty-seven years, four months and twenty-five days of age. He was preceded in death by his father, Dean Robert Altman. He is survived by his wife, Jojie Altman of Camdenton, Missouri; mother, Ann Emry of Camdenton, Missouri; daughter, Tara Altman; son, Zach Altman; brother, Cary Altman; and one granddaughter, Adelene Bassett. He also leaves behind a host of several long time friends and other family members who will all truly miss him. William was a semi driver for several years and although he never had a college education, he was a proud owner of his own quilting company in Nicaragua for about ten years and then later opening his own shop in Camdenton, Missouri. William moved to the Philippines where he lived for many years. While living there, he was united in marriage to Jojie (Ayers) Altman. Together they remained in the Philippines for four and a half years until moving back to the United States in March of 2021. Together they had planned to travel to various places across the country. He was a loving, big-hearted and caring neighbor and friend who helped many people. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. A private graveside service will take place on a later date in Illinois.
