WINONA MOSSBURG Myrtle Winona Mossburg, daughter of Wilbur and Geraldine Clark Gelpin, was born, June 13, 1920 in Kansas City, Missouri. She departed this life, Sunday, May 8, 2011, in Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri at the age of ninety years, ten months and twenty-five days. She was united in marriage to Charles Reagan Mossburg and they shared many happy years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her sons, Mike Miller and wife Peggy of Kansas City, Missouri, Danny Miller and significant other Kay Harris of Gladstone, Missouri and James Sneed of Warsaw, Missouri; five grandchildren, Mike Miller, Jr., Elizabeth Tipton, Patricia Turnbull, Jason Miller and Christopher Miller; several great-grandchildren and a host of many friends. Winona was raised in Independence, Missouri and later lived in Kansas City, Missouri where she worked in a plastics factory in Kansas. She moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1978. While at the lake, she worked as a cook for the Y.A.C.C. Camp in Kaiser, Missouri. In her spare time, she enjoyed working word search puzzles. In her younger years, she spent many hours gardening. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Graveside funeral services and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2011 in Mose Clark Cemetery (Lake Road 7-13), Climax Springs. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
